Extra-Wide Wood 1″ Tack Strip

Capitol® 1″ Tack Strip is made of 5-ply construction materials, and securely holds carpet in place with 2-rows of pins. Designed for wood subfloor installs, it is wider than the industry standard width of 7/8″ and has ring shank nails to hold it in place. The beveled edge keeps the carpet tucked between the tack strip and the wall, and stays in place when stretching carpet with knee kickers or standard power stretchers. This 1″ Tack Strip meets the standards prescribed by the Carpet and Rug Institute CRI-105.
